GD&T is a highly customer oriented service business. Our main line of business is dimensional inspection and part certification for the plastic injection molded industry. The company operates under the ISO 17025 quality standard. The main equipment used at GD&T are OGP Multisensor systems, B&S CMM running PC-DMIS, Faro Arm running Polyworks, and various hand tools.
Quality Manager
Position Summary:
Responsible for activities and personnel in any aspects relating to Quality. Position involves implementation of quality systems for continuous improvement, maintaining ISO certifications and compliance, and overall quality control.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in QC or related field – minimum.
- Experience as a QM with ISO standards beneficial.
- Working knowledge of dimensional inspection and blueprints (esp. GD&T).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent team building skills – and cooperation.
- Hands on & problem solving skills are a requirement.
- Excellent PC application skills (MS Office, SPC software)
- Experience on our listed measuring equipment is beneficial.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of ISO standards.
- Quality system maintenance, development, and continuous improvement.
- ISO and Client Audits.
- Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures – particularly those documents relating to the quality system. – document control.
- Meet goals and objectives as agreed upon with management.
- Communication directly with upper management.
- Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with all customers and employees.
- Properly train and direct employees in the quality system.
- Serve as deputy for the Technical Manager.

Inspector
Description:
This person will be trained to run the inspection equipment that we have, OGP multisensor systems, and B&S CMM with PC-DMIS, to inspect parts to part prints. Applicants should have experience in reading part prints for the injection molded plastics industry, be familiar with geometric tolerancing, and be proficient in MS Excel to be able to organize and analyze inspection results for completeness and accuracy.
Reporting Staff
Description:
This position would involve generating final inspection reports that are issued to the customer. Applicants should have proficient and accurate typing skills, excellent knowledge and usage skills in MS Excel (setting cell/sheet formats, inserting formulas/calculations/pictures, report organization), proficient in part print interpretation, and possess excellent interpretation and understanding of geometric tolerancing and the ability to relate the results through a formal report (calculating and analyzing results).
