Founded in 2001, Geometric Design and Technology Inc., has been serving the manufacturing community by providing geometric dimensioning and tolerancing expertise on the cutting edge of dimensional inspection services. Our Company Story

Geometric Design and Technology, Inc., colloquially referred to as “GD&T”, was proudly established in 2001 in the tool and die capital of the world: Meadville, Pennsylvania. Founded by a group of experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds, including a former United States Marine, a Design Engineer, and an Erudite Metrologist, GD&T is uniquely poised to navigate every complexity that comes with the job. Our services are unparalleled in quality, detail, and efficiency.

GD&T was founded with the common goal of being a customer-driven business providing a premium service that exceeds customer needs and expectations. More than two decades later, GD&T is the foremost leader in dimensional metrology services – serving customers in the United States, Canada, Europe, Puerto Rico, and beyond. GD&T is a provider of a comprehensive quality solutions for any project involving quality control. Our highly skilled and experienced metrologists work with our customers to fulfill their quality needs.

Located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, known as “Tool City, USA”, and just 40 minutes south of Erie, Pennsylvania. At GD&T our inspectors, metrologists, and employees are immersed in a culture of manufacturing excellence, industrial ingenuity, and are experts in their fields. GD&T, Inc. is an A2LA accredited metrology lab that meets the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for the competence of calibration and testing laboratories. Our 5,000 square foot (464.5152 square meter) facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art technologies to ensure the highly precise results that our customers have come to expect. We provide feedback to our customers with detailed, data-driven reports. GD&T will essentially become an extension of your quality department and project team from start to finish.
